Monarch Airlines ceased trading in October 2017. For more information, see the website.
Monarch flies from five UK airports: London Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds-Bradford and Luton. In April 2017 it launched new routes to Porto, Stockholm and Zagreb for summer 2017.
Flights to Porto in northern Portugal will depart three times a week from Birmingham, Manchester and Luton from £67 return. Flights to Zagreb in Croatia will operate from Gatwick three times a week and Manchester twice weekly, from £77 return. Monarch will fly to Stockholm three times a week from Birmingham and Manchester and twice a week from Luton.
Monarch also has new flights from Birmingham to Valencia in Spain, Split in Croatia, Naples in Italy and Rhodes in Greece.
In December 2016, the airline also scrapped all credit card charges on flight and holiday bookings made through the company’s websites or UK contact centres. You can also pay using PayPal and get the same financial protection you’d get by paying with a credit card.
